					The first meeting of the Club started in June 2007, and thereafter the Club became chartered on 29th June 2008. The idea behind starting a Rotary Club in Lekki was initiated by PDG Prof. Akinsete, PDG Adeniji Raji,PDG Deinde Shoga, DGE Kamoru Omotosho and Dr. Akinlade Hakeem who was assigned by RC District office the responsibility of ensuring that the club stabilizes and flourishes.
